In 2025, Menza is envisioned to implement a modern, automated token system to streamline the dining experience for students. This system replaces traditional payment methods with digital tokens, offering a faster, more convenient, and hygienic way to access meals.

Here's how it is envisioned to work:

• Digital Tokens: Each student would have a digital token balance associated with their student ID.
• Top-Up: Students could easily top up their token balance online, through mobile apps, or at designated kiosks within the dorm.
• Contactless Transactions: At the Menza buffet, students would simply scan their student ID or use a mobile app to deduct the cost of their meal from their token balance.
• Real-Time Tracking: Students could track their token balance and transaction history in real-time through an online portal or mobile app.

This system eliminates the need for physical cash or cards, reducing queues and improving efficiency. It also provides students with greater control over their spending and helps Menza manage resources more effectively.
